Welcome to KJ Dance
Founded in 1993 by Kristy Ulmer Blakeslee, KJ Dance has proudly served the Plano community for over three decades. In 2014, we expanded by opening our second location in Frisco, Texas. During the 2026-2027 season, we are honored to celebrate 34 years of excellence in dance education.

At KJ Dance, our faculty is dedicated to providing exceptional training while fostering a creative, inspiring, and supportive environment. We are passionate about helping every dancer thrive, from those taking their very first class to pre-professional artists pursuing their highest goals. Each student is encouraged to grow with confidence, challenge themselves, and discover a lifelong love for the art of dance.

We believe dance is about so much more than technique. KJ Dance provides a safe, nurturing community where students build self-confidence, discipline, teamwork, leadership, and resilience.
