Information on our Programs and Policies
Sessional Classes: We offer session-based classes running in terms throughout the year: Fall Term (September to December), Winter Term (January to March), Spring Term (April to June), and Summer Term (July and August). To join each session, re-registration for classes is required, and payment for sessional programs must be made in full at the time of registration.
10-Month & 12-Month Programs: In addition to our session classes, we provide 10-month programs for Fundamentals, Active Start, Superstar, Superman, and Gymstars. These programs cover the entire school year, running from September to June. We also run 12-month programs for CCP, Xcel, and MAG from July-June. When you register for a 10-month or 12-month program, you only have to register once - during the fall session registration. At the time of registration, you will pay the registration fees and program expense - these fees are non-refundable. For class tuition, you have the option to make payments monthly or in full at the time of registration. Mid-year enrollment is not recommended and is only done so on a coach recommendation - pending space availability.
DGS/GBC Annual Membership Fee
This annual fee covers the mandatory insurance required for all Gymnastics BC (GBC) members. When you register with Delta Gymnastics, you are automatically enrolled as a member of GBC. This insurance provides coverage while participating in programs at any GBC-affiliated club across the province. By enrolling in a class or program, you will automatically be charged this membership fee and become a member with Delta Gymnastics Society and Gymnastics BC.
If you have already paid this insurance fee through another GBC club for the current school year (September to August), please contact our office. We'll confirm your membership and remove the duplicate fee from your account.
Please note: This fee is non-refundable and not prorated.
Refund and Withdrawals Policies (Sessional Classes)
Your registration fee pays for a class spot for the entire session, regardless of attendance. In the unforeseen event that we cancel a class, whenever possible, we will try to make up that class. If the class is cancelled due to an "Act of God" (storm, power outage, natural disaster, etc.), no refunds will be given.
Birthday Parties: 3 weeks notice - $25 cancellation fee will be applied
Camps & Clinics: 3 business days notice prior to start of class - $10 cancellation fee will be applied
Kids Night Out & Teens Night Out: 24 hours notice - $10 cancellation fee will be applied
Sessional Classes & Programs: 3 business days notice prior to start of class - $25 cancellation fee will be applied
Refunds for withdrawals from Advanced Programs (CCP, MAG, Xcel, Superstar, Superman, Gymstars), Team Programs, and Gymnaestrada are only given for training fees and only given due to:
- Medical reasons with a doctor's note
- Relocation from the municipality with proof presented
- An academic challenge with a teacher's note.
Requests for withdrawals must be submitted in writing to the Business Manager and be accompanied by the appropriate proof. Once the request is accepted, the withdrawal is subject to 6.5 weeks' fees, starting from the date Delta Gymnastics receives the proper documentation.
If you are withdrawing from the program, any outstanding Parent Participation hours not completed by the last day of training will be pro-rated for the portion of training completed and added to your account. ALL DGS/GBC INSURANCE FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
If you request a transfer to another class, we will try to accommodate you depending on available space. A $25 administration fee will apply.
